We are a typical practice in our mix of bookkeeping, accounts and payroll. We also undertake a number of outsourced bookkeeping assignments.
The main responsibility of the role is the completion of year end accounts for SME’s, and also completing personal tax returns and self employed accounts. There are also some management accounts to oversee/prepare, as well as overseeing the payroll function as part of this varied role.
This role is client-focussed, and may require some travel. We have an experienced and friendly team of bookkeepers to support this role. We are a forward thinking and growing practice and there is the flexibility to grow this role as your knowledge and experience develops.
Wage: £10ph + holiday pay + company pension after 6 months service.
Hours: Part-time, flexible. Initially 2 days per week.

The candidate is also expected to have good communication skills, with a professional telephone manner and possess a good command of written English. This role would ideally suit applicants LOCAL to the Bollington and Macclesfield area.
This role will include all the usual bookkeeping functions including: bank, debtors & suppliers reconciliations, cheques preparation, nominal journals, invoices & expenses entry and report generation. There will be contact with clients and suppliers, either by phone, letter or email.
Knowledge of accounts preparation, trial balances, profit & loss accounts, balance sheets and tax returns would be desirable, but not essential.
The role requires someone with an eye for detail and accuracy with figures. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner and be able to prioritise their own workload and work relatively unsupervised on occasion.
